Launch X431 has 4 kinds of adapters for Tesla. They can work with X431 PAD, X431 PRO serial tablets. The Tesla software must also be activated on the Launch X431 scanners to perform Tesla diagnostic functions.

This Tesla 12+20 adapter is included in the Launch X431 EV Kit. It also can be purchased alone.
Function:
This connector is suitable for Model S and Model X models, and can test fault codes, clear codes, and special functions, such as website measurable meter function.
Wiring diagram:
The first part is the Tesla 12+20 connector (12PIN) wiring diagram, which is applicable to S (X) models produced before September 2015 (including September).
The second part is the Tesla 12+20 connector (20PIN) wiring diagram, which is applicable to S (X) models produced after September 2015.
