1. Connect the SmartLink C Device
   • Plug the Launch SmartLink C V2.0 remote diagnosis connector into the vehicle’s OBD port.
   • The system will quickly generate a link code.

 

2. Send the Code for Remote Assistance
   • Share the link code with a repair shop or technician equipped with a Launch SmartLink B device and an official Maserati diagnostic tool.
3. Technician Access & Diagnosis
   • Once the technician receives the code, they will connect their SmartLink B device to the Maserati diagnostic tool and accept the request via the SmartLink Remote Diagnosis Platform.
   • This allows the expert to remotely diagnose and service the vehicle as if they were physically present.
4. Perform the Maintenance Reset
   • The technician will perform a preliminary scan using the diagnostic tool.
   • When the lock icon at the top-right of the screen unlocks, it indicates a successful connection.

 

• • They will navigate to Instrument Cluster Settings, select IPC Write Service, and initiate the maintenance reset.
