How to download X431 APP on the Launch X431 Android tablet?
There are two methods for reference.
The methods are suitable for all Launch X431 tools with Android system, such as X431 PRO Elite, X431 PROS Elite, X431 PRO5 SmartLink, PRO3S+ V2.0, PRO3S+ V5.0, X431 V+ V4.0, X431 V, X431 PRO3 V3.0/ PRO3 V4.0, X431 PRO V4.0, X431 PRO 3S, PRO3 APEX, CRP919E BT, CRP919X BT, etc.
Method 1: Download APP via Chrome
Turn on X431 tablet
Make sure your X431 tool connect an available WiFi
Tap Chrome on the home menu
Access https://mycar.x431.com/
Select Services & Support>> Download
Select the version that match the first five digits of the device serial number
For example: X-431 PRO3S+ V2.0 ONLINE Android Download (98928)
Then a prompt will appear “Chrome needs storage access to download files.”
Tap “Continue”
Tap “ALLOW” to allow Chrome to access photos, media and files on your device
Tap “OK”
Tap “Details” to download files
Wait a moment until the software is downloaded
Tap the X431 APK downloaded
Click “SETTINGS” to allow your phone to install unknown apps from this source
Tap the button to allow from this source
Select “Return” icon and select “INSTALL” to install the APP
Select “More details” and select “Install anyway”
After the APP is installed, click “OPEN”
Follow the prompts and tap “ALLOW” to allow X-431 APP to access the device’s location, take pictures and record video, phones, media and files, make and manager phone calls, and record audio
Tap the button to allow display over other apps
After that, tap Return icon, and the X431 tool will start and enter the main menu
Method 2: Download APP via APP Init
Press the home screen and slide up to select "APP Init"
Input the 12-digit serial number to download the X431 directly.
