LAUNCH X431 PRO3 V+ Elite with SmartLink C “Function inactive or expired” Solution

One customer gave feedback that he got “Function inactive or expired.” Error message when he used LAUNCH X431 PRO3 V+ Elite with SmartLink C V2.0. It was unable to connect to the VCI SmartLink.
He has followed the setup instructions but still encountered the issue.







Solution:
This issue occurs because the customer has mistakenly accessed the Super Remote function.
✔️ If you do NOT need the Super Remote function:

• Disconnect the VCI from the network.
• Go directly to Local Diagnose mode.

• Purchase the Launch Remote Diagnosis Annual Activation Card first.
• Then, follow the activation steps outlined in the article below.
