Launch X431 PRO Elite Regeneration DPF Function is Invalid Solution
Problem: The DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) function on the LAUNCH X431 PRO ELITE is not working. When selecting "Regeneration of Diesel Particulate Filter" from the menu and following the instructions— "Ignition ON and Engine Stopped; Command NOW Waiting Push Start"—the device stops executing, and no action occurs.
Suggested Solution: 1. Retry the Operation Attempt the process multiple times. If the steps are followed correctly but the function fails, the DPF might be severely clogged.
2. Understand the DPF Regeneration Function Over time, diesel carbon particles accumulate in the DPF, reducing efficiency. The regeneration function uses high-temperature exhaust gases to burn off these particles, restoring normal functionality.
3. Inspect and Clean the DPF Disassemble the DPF and visually inspect it. If there is a thick carbon buildup, standard regeneration may not be sufficient. Recommendation: Clean the DPF manually or with specialized cleaning equipment.
4. Perform a DPF Reset and Regeneration After cleaning, use the DPF Reset function on the X431 tool to recalibrate the system. Then, execute the DPF Regeneration function again. Following these steps should help resolve the issue effectively.
