VPN Setup Instructions

1. Connect Your Device to PC

• Use a USB cable to connect your X431 PAD V, PAD VII or PRO 5 to your computer.

2. Disable USB Switch

• Go to: Settings > USB Management

Turn off the "USB Switch"

3. Enable File Transfer

• Pull down the device's quick settings menu or go to: Settings > USB Preferences
• Select “USB file transfer turned on”

Choose “Use USB for File Transfer”

4. Transfer VPN Configuration File

• On your PC, open "My Computer"
• Locate and open your connected Launch device
• Copy the VPN configuration file (e.g., Singapore.ovpn) into any folder
  Note: Remember the file path—you’ll need it later.
  

5. Install VPN App

• On your X431 PRO5, PAD VII, or PAD V, open Google Play Store
• Search for and install OpenVPN Connect

6. Launch OpenVPN Connect

• Open the app and navigate to the folder containing your .ovpn file
• Select the file (e.g., Singapore.ovpn) to import it into the app
  

7. Connect to VPN

• Tap Connect after importing the file
• Select ADD
• When prompted, choose “Allow Compression (insecure)” > Full
