How to use Launch X431 PAD V Elite to perform smart detection on DAF truck?
X431 PAD V Elite with SmartLink C and Launch Heavy-duty Truck Software License and Adapters Package (same as Launch X431 PAD5 LINK HD) can perform DAF (1996-2017) and DAF E6 (2015- ) (PACCAR Engine) trucks smart detection by "Automatically Search By VIN" under the "Local Diagnosis" function.
Operation guide:
Select “Local Diagnosis” on the main menu of X431 PAD V Elite
Select Truck>> DAF>> DAF Diagnostic Software V14.65
Select “Automatically Search By VIN”
Select “Smart Detection”
It can show the number that the system which has DTC and you can check the detailed DTC.
Click “Report” to save the report
You can also click the “Code Search” to find the meaning by Google.
