Launch X431 PAD V Diagnose 2010 VOLVO FM Telltale Warning Light
This post comes with the guide about using Launch X-431 PAD V Elite with X-431 HD Truck Software Authorization Pack to diagnose 2010 Volvo FM telltale warning light.
Step-by-Step Guide:
1.Connection Setup:
Remove the OBDII 16-pin connector from the X-431 SmartLink C.
Connect the X-431 PAD4HDB15M–VOLVO–8 integrated diagnostic adapter (VO 8, RoHS compliant) to the SmartLink C.
2.Software Selection:
Enter the [Local Diagnose] function.
Select VOLVO HD Diagnostic Software V18.55 or later.
3.Vehicle Selection:
Choose the correct Volvo truck model (FM series).
e.g. Vehicle Select-> Volvo Trucks-> VERSION2 (2002-2013)-> FM-> Automatically Search
4.System Scan:
Run a full [System Scan] to check all vehicle systems.
5.Fault Code Check:
Navigate to the LCM (Lighting Control Module) to review fault codes.
6.Follow On-Screen Prompts:
Proceed with troubleshooting or reset procedures as guided by the diagnostic tool.
