How to update X431 X-Prog3 firmware on Launch X431 IMMO Plus or X431 IMMO Elite?
Check the step-by-step guide below.
1.Access the IMMO Function:
On the main menu of your X431 IMMO Plus or IMMO Elite tablet, click the “IMMO” function
2.Select a Car Brand:
Choose any car brand, such as BMW.
3.Load the Immobilizer Software:
Select the car’s Immobilizer software, then press “OK”.
4.Firmware Detection:
The system will detect the current firmware version of the X-Prog3 and prompt you to update if a new version is available (e.g., V1.72).
5.Connect Devices:
Ensure the X431 IMMO Plus/IMMO Elite tablet is connected to the X-Prog3 key programmer as instructed on-screen.
6.Start Firmware Update:
Click “YES” to begin the firmware update process.
7.Complete the Update:
Do not disconnect or interrupt the update process. Wait until the system completes the update.
8.Success:
Once the update is finished, you will see a confirmation message. The X431 X-Prog3 firmware is now updated successfully.
