Launch X431 IMMO Plus Add Buick GL8 2020 Smart Key

This guide illustrates the procedure for adding a smart key to a Buick GL8 using Launch X431 IMMO series tablet (IMMO Plus/IMMO Elite/IMMO Pro).

Example Vehicle: Buick Enclave 2020
Step 1: Generate Remote Key
Access the "Key Programming" menu
Navigate through: Vehicle Remote → American → Buick → All remotes → Enclave (2018-2020) Keylessgo ID46 433 → Generate
Successful key generation confirmed

Step 2: Add Smart Key
Access path:
GM software (e.g. V10.45) → Anti-Theft Key Matching → Manually Select (Via Model) → Buick → (L) 2020 → Enclave → Smart Key → Add Smart Key


Follow the on-screen instructions sequentially:

• Switch ignition ON
• Press Start/Stop button
• Place the new smart key in the designated key slot, ensuring all other keys are removed from the vehicle

• Enter and verify the 4-digit security PIN

• Switch ignition OFF
• Press Start/Stop button
• Verify the programmed key quantity shows as 2

• When prompted for additional key programming, select "NO" as current key is successfully programmed

• Press and hold START button until ignition activates and dashboard indicators illuminate
• Apply brake and press START button to initiate engine
• Deactivate ignition
• Shut down engine
• Open and close driver's door
• Remove smart key and simultaneously press Lock/Unlock buttons
• Select "NO" when asked to synchronize additional keys
