Step 2: Activate device with serial number and activation code
Step 3: Post remote car repair request

In detail…

Go to http://smartlink.x431.com on your PC
Step 1: Register an account with [Commom user]
Click “Register now”
Choose “Common user” and click “Next step”
Fill in the username, Email, verification code, password, etc to complete the registration






Step 2: Activate device with serial number and activation code
After registration, back to the login page
Log in with the available user name and password
Click Management>> Activate device at the left bar
Then click "Activate device" on the top right of the page
Enter the serial number and activation code found on the envelope
Then click "OK"
Once the device is activated, you are ready to start requesting remote car repair assistance.




Step 3: Post remote car repair request
Posting a request is incredibly simple:
Click My post>> Create an appointment
You can select a specific expert to schedule a service or simply post a request
In the top right corner, choose vehicle details
For example: Volvo>> XC60>> 2018-2022>> All
Specify the issue to be solved, and then click "Submit"




If you've already contacted an expert in advance, there is an even simpler way to submit the request.
First, plug the SmartLink C into the OBD port of the vehicle
Then connect to the network
Wait for the device to power on automatically
Next, enter the "Remote Diagnostic Mode", and then the SmartLink C will generate a 6-digit key
At last, share the key with the expert you've contacted, and wait for the expert to connect remotely.
