How to Update Key Programmer Software on Launch X431 Tablet?

Currently, Launch X431 Key Programmer is compatible with CRP919E BT, CRP919X BT, X431 IMMO Plus, IMMO Elite, IMMO Pad, IMMO Pro, Pros Elite, X431 PAD VII, X431 PAD V, Pro3 APEX, Pro3 ACE, X431 PRO STAR, X431 Pro5, Euro Tab III, etc to read transponder, generate transponder, detect frequency, detect Ignition switch coil signal, generate remote (LAUNCH X431 remote), set type of super chip, set type of wireless remote, unlock Toyota smart key, etc.

NOTE:
X431 Pro5 SmartLink (new) has a Type-C connector that can directly connect with X431 Key Programmer.
X431 Pro5 SmartBox (old) doesn't have a Type- C connector, but you can buy an extra OTG USB Micro to USB-C Adapter to work with X-431 Key Programmer.

How to activate the key programmer function?
Step 1: Make sure you have bought Launch X-431 Key Programmer Set
(X431 Key Programmer+ 1 Super Chip+ 4 sets of Smart Keys)

Step 2: Connect X-431 Key Programmer and Launch tool

If you try to update key programming software and firmware on Launch X431 IMMO Plus/ IMMO Elite/ PAD V/ PAD VII, etc, you must connect this key programmer with tablet, otherwise, it will give error device no response.

Step 3: Update X431 to the latest APK
i.e. Launch X431 PRO
Login with your username and password

There will be a new version appearing on the screen. Click “Update”

Install the APP

Open the X431 APP after installation.

Step 4: Update software
Go to [Software Update] function

Select all software and click “Update”

Wait a moment until all software are installed successfully

Step 5: Update firmware and remote database
Back to the main menu, and select [Other Modules]
Select Toolbox>> Key Programmer>> Update
