How to Perform DAF Truck Injector Cutout Manually Using Launch X431 PAD V Elite?

Launch X431 PAD V Elite with Launch SmartLink C and Heavy-duty Truck Software License and Adapters Package can perform the same function as the Launch X431 PAD5 Link HD. This setup allows for manual injector cutout procedures on DAF trucks, including models from 1996-2017 and DAF E6 (2015-onwards) with PACCAR engines.

Below is a step-by-step guide for performing this operation.

Example: DAF E6 (2015-) with PACCAR Engine
1.Access Local Diagnosis:
Navigate to the "Local Diagnosis" function on X431 PAD V.


2.Select Vehicle Type:
Go to:

• Truck >> DAF >> DAF Diagnostic Software V14.65
• Choose DAF E6 (2015-) (PACCAR Engine)
• Select Automatically Search
• Then, select PCI (PACCAR Common Rail Injection)

3.Confirm Vehicle Information:
Verify the vehicle details displayed on the screen.



4.Choose Actuation Test:
Select:
Actuation Test >> Cut-Out the Injectors >> Cutout Injectors Manually


5.Fulfill Entry Conditions:
Ensure that all entry conditions required for the test are met.

6.Start the Process:
Click Start to begin the operation.


7.Select Injector to Cut Out:
Choose CutOut_#1

8.Monitor Engine Speed:
Observe the engine speed values displayed during the test.

9.Exit the Test:
Click Exit to complete the current test.


10.Cycle Ignition:
Turn off the ignition for 15 seconds.
Then, turn the ignition back on.
