How to Clone VW POLO ID48 (96 bit) Chip by Launch X431 IMMO Elite?
To clone the Volkswagen POLO ID48 (96-bit) chip, you can use Launch X431 IMMO Elite and X431 Key Programmer. Follow this step-by-step guide for a smooth process.
Steps:
1. Insert the Original Car Key
Insert the original car key into the Launch X431 Key Programmer to read the key information by X431 IMMO Elite Key Programmer
2. Select “ID48 (96-bit) Online Calculation”
Choose the “ID48 (96-bit) online calculation” option to begin cloning the chip data.
3. Follow the On-Screen Instructions
Follow the on-screen instructions and click “Start Clone” to begin the cloning process.
Insert the original key into the X-431 Key Programmer for recognition.
Place the X431 antenna close to the car's ignition switch (detection coil) to collect the data.
For Standard Remote Keys:
Insert the original key, turn on the ignition, turn it off, then remove the key.
Repeat this process until the data collection is complete.
For Smart Keys:
Remove the key battery.
Place the smart key near the detection area to light up the instrument panel.
Turn off the ignition switch and remove the key.
Repeat the process until the data collection is complete.
For Volvo Models:
Only one data set can be collected at a time.
Disconnect power after each data set is collected, then reconnect for the next set.
