DFAC Truck Cylinder Cutoff Test Using Launch X431 PAD V Elite

It has been tested and confirmed by LAUNCH engineer that Launch X431 PAD V Elite with SmartLink C can test cylinder cutoff on DFAC truck successfully.

Tips:
Require the Launch X431 Heavy Duty Truck Software Authorization Pack
Use the "Local Diagnosis" function on the main menu to operate
Make sure the DFAC software is V11.35 (DongFeng light truck V11.35) or above.

Detailed operation guide:
Select "Local Diagnosis" function on the main menu of X431 PAD V

Select "DFAC"
Make sure the DFAC software is V11.35 (DongFeng light truck V11.35)
Click on "OK"

It will connect the VCI in WiFi mode automatically
If the firmware is required to be updated, it will pop up a firmware update window, and take several minutes to update automatically. Ensure the VCI is powered up!
After the firmware is updated successfully, select the corresponding model to operate.

For example:
Select "Engine"
Select "Dongfeng Light Eng"
Select "ZD30 D-sample (China VI)"
Select "Read Dtcs”, and it shows the related diagnostic trouble codes.

Select "Special Function"
Select "Cylinder Cutoff Test"
Check the test conditions:
1.Engine speed below 1600rpm
2.Max allowable test time is 30s
3.Engine idles and in neutral gear
4.Handbrake pulled up
5.Electric equipment such as A/C is off.
Click “OK” to continue
